Everything you need to know about your upcoming flight
When should I arrive?
For a relaxed experience, please arrive 10 minutes before your booking begins.
Can bad weather prevent us from flying?
Yes, adverse weather conditions such as low cloud, fog, heavy rain or high winds may require your flight to be delayed or rescheduled. If this is the case, your pilot will call or SMS you at least 2 hours prior to your flight.
Google says it's going to rain. Should I reschedule?
We will make a "Fly" or "No Fly" decision on the day of your flight. If bad weather is present on the day, we'll call or SMS you at least 2 hours prior to your booking.
There's no need to contact us to reschedule based on Google or Apple's weather forecast. These forecasts often change on the day (especially in Melbourne!) and we monitor live weather data from the Bureau of Meteorology every day before we fly.
We'll do everything we can to get you flying on the day, wherever it is safe to do so!
Can I use my camera or phone during flight?
Yes, we encourage you to take as many photos and videos on the ground, and in the air, as possible.
What should I wear?
Please bring a pair of sunglasses and you're welcome to wear clothing appropriate to the weather. We do recommend a wind-breaker jacket on cooler or windy days to keep your warm.
Why do I need to provide my weight?
We use this to calculate the weight and balance of the helicopter prior to flight. If you have any guests weighing over 120kg or a combined passenger weight of more than 240kg, please contact us prior to booking.
Are there age restrictions for children?
We only recommend flights for children over 4 years of age and every child must occupy their own seat and pay the full seat price.
Do I need to be double vaccinated to fly?
We encourage all our passengers to be double vaccinated to fly.
Can I bring any luggage?
Light handbags and small backpacks weighing less than 5kg can be carried. For any larger items please contact us prior to your flight.
Can I fly if I'm pregnant?
Yes, and we recommend flying prior to your third trimester.
Can I fly if I'm in a wheelchair?
Yes, our hangar is wheelchair-accessible and we warmly welcome passengers with special needs. Please contact us if you have any questions.
