For a relaxed experience, please arrive 10 minutes before your booking begins.
What should I wear?
You're welcome to wear any clothing that is appropriate to the weather.
Where are you located?
Rotor One is located at Hangar 7 (Melbourne Heli) at Essendon Airport (Click for directions) and off-street parking is available.
Why do I need to provide my weight?
We use this to calculate the weight and balance of the helicopter prior to flight. If you have any guests weighing over 120kg or a combined passenger weight of more than 240kg, please contact us prior to booking.
Do I need to be vaccinated to fly?
Yes, we require all guests to show proof of their Covid vaccinations upon arrival.
Can I use my camera or phone during flight?
Yes, we encourage you to take as many photos and videos on the ground, and in the air, as possible.
Can bad weather prevent us from flying?
Yes, adverse weather conditions such as low cloud, fog, heavy rain or high winds may require your flight to be delayed or rescheduled. If this is the case, your pilot will call you at least 2 hours prior to your flight.
What is your cancellation policy?

Are there age restrictions for children?
We only recommend flights for children over 4 years of age and every child must occupy their own seat and pay the full seat price.
Can I fly if I'm pregnant?
Yes, and we recommend flying prior to your third trimester.
Can I fly if I'm in a wheelchair?
Yes, our hangar is wheelchair-accessible and we warmly welcome passengers with special needs. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Can I reschedule my flights?
Yes, up to 48 hours before your departure time and on up to 3 occasions. Within 48 hours of your flight we make binding commitments to ensure your Pilot and Helicopter are reserved for you on the day.
What happens if I cannot fly to due COVID-19?
If you're unable to fly with us due to a Covid lockdown or restriction, you can choose to reschedule your flight or receive a full refund.
What happens if the helicopter cannot fly due to bad weather?
Our team will call you up to 2 hours before your departure to reschedule your flight or provide a full refund.
Can I get a refund on my Gift Voucher?
Yes, within one month of purchase and as long as the Gift Voucher hasn't been used.
