What to Expect on Your Private Couples Helicopter Ride in Sydney

Your experience begins the moment you arrive at our hangar at Sydney Airport. You’ll be greeted with a glass of champagne, setting the tone for a truly special day. Relax in our lounge as your excitement builds, knowing you’re about to embark on the experience of a lifetime.

Prior to your flight, your pilot will meet you in the lounge and provide an outline of your flight path. This is your chance to ask anything you're curious about, whether it be the fascinating aerodynamics that allow helicopters to fly, how much helicopters really cost, and what it’s really like to be a pilot. No question is off-limits, making this an interactive and engaging start to your experience.

Before takeoff, step outside for a mini-photoshoot with your helicopter - You'll likely see other helicopters and planes preparing for flight, adding to the buzz of the moment. Once aboard, your pilot will guide you through the safety procedures ensuring you’re comfortable and ready for the journey ahead.

Now it's show-time. Your pilot will bring your helicopter into a hover over the helipad before taking off towards Sydney Harbour. You'll cruise past the skyscrapers of Sydney CBD at 1,000ft (approx. 300m above the ground) and before long the spectacular Sydney Harbour will begin to unfold beneath you.

Your 20-minute flight will take you over Sydney’s best landmarks, from the Opera House to the Harbour Bridge, from Rose Bay to Elizabeth Bay, and along Sydney's famous eastern beaches of Tamarama, Bondi and Coogee.

If you upgraded to 30-minutes of flight time, your tour will extend to fly over Sydney's northern beaches including Manly, Dee Why, Curl Curl and the iconic Long Reef.

Throughout the flight, your pilot will share insights and stories about the landmarks below, making the experience both informative and personal. Your entire couples experience will also be captured in HD video complete with Pilot commentary, radio chatter from ATC, and the smiles and giggles you'll be exchanging with your partner.
