The Best Sydney Helicopter Pub Crawl to the Hawkesbury, Hunter Valley & Central Coast
This is Australia’s premier “ale trail” tour offering a bottle (or three) of the best brew that the country has to offer. This exclusive Sydney helicopter pub crawl takes you to Wollombi Tavern in the Hawkesbury, IronBark Hill Brewery in Hunter Valley, and B Farm by Murrays on the Central Coast - three of the best places to spend time in if you like beer, music, and a great atmosphere.
Sure, doing a pub crawl by car or tour bus is fine, but that’s a whole lot of time spent traveling, and you simply couldn't cover all three of these fantastic regions in a day. With our Sydney helicopter pub crawl, you'll arrive at the first pub in 40 minutes, with flights to breweries in between around 20 minutes each.
You'll get to combine the thrill and adventure of riding in a helicopter, with a fast and convenient method of travel that very few people get to experience and trust us... Pub tours will never be the same once you’ve experienced them in a helicopter. Where else can you fly thousands of feet in the sky above some of Sydney's most iconic regions, while also getting to taste some of the tastiest beers known to mankind.
Drinks at Wollombi Tavern
Wollombi Tavern, the first stop on the Hawkesbury, Hunter & Coastal Pub Crawl, is a classic Aussie pub located in the historic town of Wollombi in the Hawkesbury region. Known for its friendly atmosphere and rustic charm, this tavern is famous for serving its signature “Dr. Jurd’s Jungle Juice,” a fortified wine that packs a punch and has a long-standing local history.
As part of the helicopter tour, you’ll land directly at the tavern and enjoy a tasting of their finest beers, all while relaxing in the cozy, welcoming setting that includes a charming fireplace bar. The Wollombi Tavern offers a great mix of traditional pub food and local brews, making it the perfect start to your pub crawl adventure.
Beer Tasting Paddles at IronBark Hill Brewery
IronBark Hill Brewery in Hunter Valley is the second stop on your pub crawl, offering a sophisticated beer-tasting experience in one of the region's most scenic and modern breweries. Known for its craft beers and ciders, IronBark Hill provides a selection of 12 fresh brews on tap, including pale ales, IPAs, stouts, and refreshing ciders.
On this tour, you’ll land at the estate and enjoy a beer paddle featuring four exclusive brews, all made on-site using high-quality, local ingredients.
With its mix of rustic charm, modern appeal, and a relaxed atmosphere, IronBark Hill is not just about beer but also includes a cellar door showcasing Hunter Valley wines and a menu of delicious wood-fired pizzas and share plates.
More Beer Tasting and a Smokehouse BBQ Lunch at B Farm, by Murrays
B Farm by Murrays, located in Port Stephens, is the final stop on the Hawkesbury, Hunter & Coastal Pub Crawl. Known for its focus on farm-to-fork dining and high-quality craft beers, B Farm offers an intimate tasting experience at its cellar door.
As part of the helicopter tour, you’ll land at this picturesque location, where you can sample some of Murray’s award-winning brews while soaking up the laid-back atmosphere.
But what you'll really be looking forward to is B Farm's signature, “Farm to Fork” Smokehouse BBQ Feast at the Murray’s Beer Garden, featuring a selection of smoked meats and fresh local produce that pairs perfectly with their beers. This venue is the ideal spot to relax, enjoy great food, and sip on some of the best craft beers as you wind down after an epic pub crawl across three iconic regions by helicopter.

What an amazing experience!! 🚁💯‼️ 🤯 Had the privilege of flying over Sydney 🇦🇺 👀🤙🏽 What a view from up so high. Thanks Rotor One and team for making the experience so exciting and being so accommodating on this trip! Will definitely be looking you up again when I’m in Melbourne for another amazing flight over a different city 🏙!! 😉🤯🚁💯‼️
Amazing experience. I flew my wife and daughter family around Sydney Harbour on a helicopter ride. I felt safe and comfortable in the air conditioned chopper. There was a short safety briefing at the start, and the highlight was definitely seeing Sydney from above.
It was a really great experience for both of us. Big thanks to Rotor One and Ed for making it one of the best memories of our lifetime.
