šŸ“ About the destination

About Centennial Vineyards Restaurant and Winery

Centennial Vineyards and Restaurant is in the heart of Bowral, offering a great mix of wine, food, and stunning architecture. Right in the middle of the southern Highlands, here youā€™ll get to experience some of Australiaā€™s most prominent cool climate vineyards combined with picturesque surroundings.

Located South of Sydney, Centennial Vineyards features architecture that combines modern elegance with rustic charm, all designed to complement the vineyards surrounding the entire property. The restaurant has a very warm atmosphere thanks to its fireplaces, timber beams, and large windows that provide stunning views of the vineyards.

Aside from indoor seating, the restaurant also features outdoor seating with terrace views of the vineyard. The extensive wine-tasting experience available at the cellar door is available seven days a week, providing you with tastings of their award-winning cool-climate wines. Aside from the various wines mentioned above, this winery is also known for producing great sparkling wines, all of which are grown on over 80 acres of vines.

An interesting note is that the extremely high altitude of this winery allows the grapes to ripen very slowly, and this helps enhance the intensity and flavour of all of the wines produced by Centennial Vineyards. This kind of cool climate grape growing produces some of the best award winning wines of the region.

The venue is also home to many other special events and high tea, with high tea being available from Monday to Friday, with packages that include scones, finger sandwiches, and sparkling wine. Itā€™s a great option for groups who want to celebrate something special.

Cellar Door

The Cellar Door at Centennial Vineyards is a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts. Nestled in the heart of the Southern Highlands, the cellar door offers a unique opportunity to taste some of the regionā€™s finest wines.

The knowledgeable staff will guide you through a curated selection of our award-winning wines, including our signature Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir. Each tasting is an exploration of the vineyardā€™s dedication to quality and craftsmanship.
